GLOBAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION PROGRAMS FOR KIDS AND TEENAGERS

We offer individual, customised programs for young students from ages 5 to 17.

Young participants learn a language best by living it and having fun. It is the most effective way for them to make rapid progress.

Our full immersion programs for young learners of all language levels are designed to meet their specific needs, whether they be academic, personal growth, or the pleasure of learning a foreign language, discovering a new culture and making friends in a new country.

Our families are experienced in hosting young students, and are carefully selected to match each participant's profile and interests. Staying with a host teacher on their immersion program provides them with a safe, comfortable and friendly environment.

Programs for children and teenagers of all ages and levels

The young student stays in his/her private teacher’s home, on full-board accommodation, he or she is the only student, is totally immersed in the target language, and is treated like a family member. Lessons and/or activities are personalised and the host teacher designs a program based on the young student’s profile and objectives. Outside lesson and activity hours the student practises the language through sharing daily family life and social interactions.

Benefits for Young Learners

  • Young students stay with their teacher, who will give them private language lessons and correct them at all times.

  • Our Home Tuition Program completely immerses young participants in the language they are learning as they put into practice what they have learnt during their lessons through social interactions and meal times with their host.

Key Details

  • A language test is taken before the start of the program to determine the young student's level

  • The language lessons schedule is established with the teacher, and the program is entirely adapted to the young learner’s needs: grammar, conversation practice, comprehension, written expression… Lessons usually take place on mornings, leaving afternoons free for leisure activities and social interaction.

  • A placement test at the end of the stay enables the young learner and his or her parents to evaluate progress.

  • A Teacher's Report is provided, and a Certificate of Attendance is available, on request.

The Home Tuition Program for kids and teenagers is personalised with Leisure Options. These are compulsory for all students under 18 years old, to allow young learners to apply and practise what they have learnt during the lessons, and to ensure the best possible immersion experience.
